Sunday bowls is well received

New bowlers are welcome at Tatura Bowls Club.

It has been great to see the Sunday Social Bowls going strong.

The players enjoy the hot finger-food while Jason works out the winners of the wine.

An update of players transferred to the Tatura Bowls Club this season are: Wally Sinclair and Darryn Carpenter from East Shepparton; Joyce and Graham Andrus from Pakenham Bowls Club; and Bo Miller, Mark Spencer and John Evans are available for pennant this year.

Joyce and Graham enjoyed social bowls on Sunday and Joyce skipped the winning team — we welcome them to the club.

The club’s theme for this year is ‘enjoyment’ and the 10 new social members are doing just that and we thank them for their support.

It is great to see the numbers having a roll on a Friday afternoon and then supporting the club at the hot finger-food and raffles afterwards.

The greens are great and are used most afternoons so come along and have a roll.

New bowlers are most welcome so come down on a Friday afternoon and have some fun.

The indoor bowls are still going; Frances Britten has had a magnificent season — more on that later.

For more information phone Jason Carter on 0400784881 or Adrian Barry on 0418523251.

The ‘bad’ news is that memberships are now due; please support your club.
