GVLGA Foursomes Championship at Numurkah

Congratulations to Julie Gregg and Elaine Dunk on being runners-up in the event, which was played in very cold and wet conditions last Monday.

Bev Roberts also came home with a nearest to the pin trophy on the 18th hole.

Glad Robbins Final

The final was contested between Di Day and Deb Reilly and was played last Friday in pleasant conditions.

Di was really on her game which Deb found hard to match.

Di dropped many putts, and as they say, putts win matches.

The game concluded on the 15th hole, with Di having a 4/3 win.

Congratulations to Di and commiserations to Deb who put up a good fight when not feeling her best with a cold. Lunch was enjoyed by the players and women golfers who came along to watch the match.

Nine Hole Competition

A good field entered with some players returning from holidays.

Lois Rogers won the day with 39 nett, while Janet Leahy scored 43 nett to be runners-up.

Wednesday’s Event: 4BBB Stableford, sponsored by Tatura Hotel, Qualifying Roundd Edna Starritt Event.

Nine Hole Event: Stableford, front nine.
