Tatura Cricket Club's junior cricket is getting under way with training nights and grades announced.

Tatura Cricket Club will again be fielding teams for boys and girls of all age groups this summer.

The season kicks off in the second week of October, with training starting on Wednesday, September 20, in the last week of term three.

The club currently has a small group of junior girls who are very keen to see more girls playing cricket.

Girls are able to play two years over the normal age limit — for example, 16-year-old girls can play in the under-14 grade if they prefer to do so.

The club is also seeking a co-ordinator or team of co-ordinators for the Milo In2Cricket program.

The program runs for just 10 weeks and can be run at a time that suits the co-ordinators.

If anyone is interested, please phone Rohan Forster on 0427443400.
