Bev Roberts was awarded for her 15 years' service as treasurer.

Under-11 primary school competition player Tess Sommers received the Phyl Bramley Encouragement Award.

The Tatura Netball Association recently held its presentation night at the Ballantyne Centre with 180 netballers and family in attendance.

Committee member Jayne Newman said the evening consisted of hearing from the nine coaches of the teams who represented Tatura Netball Association in Shepparton Netball Association’s Saturday competition.

Each coach said how proud they were of their teams’ efforts throughout the season and highlighted each player’s attributes.

‘‘The evening really is about the players and 10 girls received coaches awards and encouragement awards,’’ Ms Newman said.

‘‘The evening also saw the Tatura Netball Association present life member Bev Roberts with a recognition award for 15 years of service.

‘‘Bev held the position of treasurer from 2001 through to 2015 — an amazing effort from a dedicated Taturian.’’
