4BBB Stableford event winners Bett Miller and Elaine Dunk.

The hairdressing business Brush it Up, High/Low Day generously sponsored the 4BBB stableford event.

The event was popular with some good scores recorded.

The winners for the day were Elaine Dunk and Bett Jeffers who combined well to score 48 points.

Bett appeared on the card enough times to reduce her handicap, giving her encouragement to play more as she eases back into golf after some time off.

Runners-up were Sue Turnbull and Gail Meneilly with 46 points.

Balls were given to Bev Roberts and Di Day with 45 points, Sheryl Curran and Josie De Iseo 44, Karen Ballantyne and Lyn Flett and Wilma Saunders and Liz Mulcahy 43.

Nearest-the-pins: third Gallery, Janette Hayward; sixth Tatura Hot Bread, Liz Mulcahy; ninth Café Alofa, Terri Wangeman; 14th One4One Café, Di Ballantyne.
