President Francis Mark presents Joan Hill with the monthly medal.

The stroke monthly medal event sponsored by Drummond Golf was played in pleasant conditions. Joan Hill played well to win A-grade with a score of 73 nett, which also won her the monthly medal.

Runner-up was Robyn Downs with 74 nett.

B-grade winner was a happy Mandy McGrath, who scored 76 nett, winning on a countback from Di Day.

Ball winners: Judy Baker 75, Jan Coe 76, Sue Turnbull 77 and Heather Long 78.

Nearest-the-pins: third Gallery Café, Sue Turnbull; sharp shooter Di Day scored on both the sixth Tatura Hot Bread and 14th One4One Café; and ninth Café ALofa, Francie Mark.

Nine-hole competition: Winner was Helen Williams, with runner-up Roylyn Harris.

Presentation day and Christmas lunch will be celebrated on Wednesday with a visit from Santa and his elfin helper.

Past and present golfing members including bowling members are encouraged to come along to the lunch. Cost is $20 a head. Bring a Kris Kringle gift to the value of $10 to put in Santa’s sack.
