Bulls 42 defeated Celtics 21
Player unavailability due to school commitments and injury had Celtics needing three fill-ins to field six players. They fought hard and kept pace with Bulls for the first half, before Bulls pulled away to an easy win.
Suns 48 defeated Heat 42
Suns' team effort where all players scored got them the win against Heat despite 27 points from Floyd Vincitorio.
Magic 41 defeated Celtics 32
Daniel Simpson Thouliss (16) and Harley Keating (10) got the points for Celtics, but this wasn’t enough to beat the team effort of Magic which came home with the win helped by 16 points from Robbie Hamilton and 10 from Shannon Wills.
Heat 26 defeated Bulls 18
Kacee Swetnam had a day out scoring 12 points for Heat, with support from Oscar Carver with eight. Bulls struggled to hit a basket in the first half, but a better second effort had them close the gap before Heat pulled away again. Bulls first gamer Elizabeth Ford will be one to watch as she showed plenty of promise and Tanz Dellar hit eight points to help his team in the chase.
Bulls 42 defeated Heat 34
Bulls had five players score, with guards Marcus Perry (13 points) and Jaiden Benjamin (10) converting many fast break plays. Zaya Munday for Heat continued his high scoring, but was unable to dominate the boards thanks to Heat's defence and this was the game changer.
Celtics/Bulls Combined 11 defeated Heat 9
Only one game was played in D-grade due to players being unavailable due to a school camp. But it was the game of the round!
Great defence and defensive rebounding kept the scores low. With 15 seconds to go the score was locked on 9-all before Mason Earl hit a two-point jump shot to get Celtics the win.
